I grew up on Uplink and had a blast with the visuals in Multiwinia. I feel bad because I really love everything from Introversion Software. Maybe a puzzler with rogue like elements? Something like Dark Echo perhaps? Seeing the entire world play back at the end with all the scanned geometry in real time though, that was kind of mind blowing. I'm not sure if people who really enjoy technical spectacle are also into walking simulators and adventure games.

It would probably take moving out of the walking simulator genre into something different though to be successful. It's really cool, and I wish the effort that went into it could really be rewarded. I would love if this tech got repurposed into a much bigger game. This game is 100% about the scanner game tech. I liked it but it's about average for walking simulators. It slowly lets you piece it together until the end when it basically comes out and tells you with a satisfying scripted cut scene. I promise there's no fetch quests or random encounters to pad runtime. If you're looking for maximum playtime for money, this is not it. The second playthrough was worth it having learned the plot the first time and seeing the subtle details the second time. Were you a fan of games like Antichamber, Superliminal, and The Witness? TL DR I'm really happy I paid $20 for this game, even now that you can grab it on sale for $1.ĭo you admire technical artistic skills few other studios could pull off?
